For 21 years, I had the privilege of serving our community as a high school teacher and head of the special education department. In those roles, my career was built on active listening, fierce advocacy, patience, and creating a welcoming, supportive environment where everyone felt valued. As a recent new homeowner myself, I know firsthand the mix of excitement and anxiety that comes with buying a home.
