I spent most of my life growing up in Toronto before studying kinesiology at the University of Western Ontario in London. That’s where I met my wife and business partner Melissa. We got married and bought a townhouse in Toronto in 2003, and I began working in real estate while Melissa finished her nursing degree.
A few years later, I helped a few families move to Milton, and the small town really grew on me. Eventually, we took a leap of faith and tried it out, because we wanted a safe, quiet place to raise a family.
Looking back, it seemed like a wild and crazy idea to start a business in a town where we didn’t know a single person. Actually, I knew two friends from university… and they both had agents already!
We joined Royal LePage® in 2005, and went $40,000 in debt to get our business up and running. Gradually, we climbed out of that hole and built our business up to where it is now, with a fantastic team that has ranked in the Top 100 agents in Canada in eight of the last ten years.
We have two children, Vivian and Claire, one dog named Lily, one cat named Dexter, and we enjoy mini-vacations in our backyard pool. Our family goal is to travel at least 3-4 times a year, and I love collecting vintage audio equipment, and listening to vinyl records. Back in the day, I was a pretty good DJ and I had my own college radio show.
My role on the team is to help clients, with a focus on sellers (although I do work with buyers every once in a while), and I look after most of the marketing and special projects for our team.
I believe in long-lasting, meaningful relationships with people, and mentoring our clients and our agents is one of the things I enjoy the most. I’m known as a creative, hardworking person who will always put respect and integrity first.
